At Craig Manufacturing, we are committed to maintaining a supply chain that is free from forced and child labour. We believe in conducting business with integrity and ensuring all individuals involved in our operations are treated with dignity and respect.
Our 2024 Forced Labour and Child Labour Report highlights the steps we’ve taken this year to align with Canada’s Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act. This includes deeper supply chain mapping, greater awareness of high-risk regions, and continued partnerships with suppliers who share our values. Over 70% of our yearly spend is with North American suppliers who have submitted their own reports, and all of our top suppliers are known to us through long-standing relationships and in-person visits.
We remain committed to continuous improvement. In 2025, the following initiatives will continue to support this effort:
-
Policy Awareness: Continuing to enforce and increase awareness of our Forced Labour and Child Labour policy.
-
Team Training: Training existing and new team members on the scope of what forced and child labour actually is.
-
Support and Advocacy: Supporting Craig’s efforts to assist with the eradication of forced and child labour in our supply chain.
-
Risk Monitoring: Ongoing review of high-risk suppliers to determine if further investigation or remediation is required.
-
Effectiveness Evaluation: Developing methods to assess how well our efforts are working.
No instances of forced or child labour were identified in 2024, but we remain vigilant and committed to upholding these standards across all areas of our business.
