Craig acquisition of 4-D Welding expands forestry, guarding, specialty cab, and machine modification capabilities across North America
Craig Manufacturing Ltd. is excited to announce the acquisition of the intellectual property of 4-D Welding & Fabricating Ltd., a Kamloops, British Columbia-based manufacturer known for forestry guarding packages, specialty machine cabs, equipment modifications, and custom heavy equipment solutions.
This acquisition is an exciting step forward for Craig as we continue to grow our product offering and expand the ways we support operators across North America. By bringing 4-D’s proven product designs and forestry experience into Craig, we are strengthening our capabilities in specialty machine cabs, forestry guarding, equipment protection, and custom machine modifications.
4-D Welding & Fabricating has built a strong name in forestry and other heavy industries by developing practical, purpose-built products for demanding work. Their catalog includes forestry guarding packages, specialty machine cabs, FOPS, cab risers, dozer and wheel loader guarding, excavator attachments, hydraulic thumbs, custom equipment conversions, and other specialty products.

Darrin brings decades of experience in forestry equipment, guarding packages, custom conversions, and customer-driven product development.
